ABSTRACT:
Military personnel play a crucial role in safeguarding national independence and security; therefore, their social protection is not merely a matter of individual welfare but an essential factor of defense capability and national security. The social protection system encompasses a wide range of guarantees, including salaries, pensions and allowances, healthcare services, housing provision, family support, education, and psychological assistance, tailored to the unique duties and risks of military service. Developing a comprehensive social protection framework for military personnel and adopting best practices from developed countries are of strategic importance for strengthening defense capacity. Therefore, in order to improve the social security of military personnel, the government’s policy implementation and current situation are compared and analyzed with the experience of developed countries, and ways to further implement them are sought.
