ABSTRACT:
The Engineer Corps is one of the most remarkable branches of the military, distinguished by its specialized professional role and rich historical legacy. Engineer troops are uniquely characterized by their participation at the forefront of virtually all types of combat operations. Unlike other military branches, their mission does not end with the conclusion of warfare or combat actions; instead, their responsibilities continue during the post-conflict period through recovery, reconstruction, and technical support activities.
In the present context, it is necessary to reexamine and highlight certain significant events in the history of the national armed forces. In particular, this article focuses on the first engineer unit, known as the “Demolition and Repair Sapper Platoon,” examining its formation, role, and historical significance.

ХУРААНГУЙ:
Инженерийн цэрэг нь тун ч гайхамшигт түүхтэй, тусгай мэргэжлийн төрлийн цэргийн нэг юм. Инженерийн цэрэг нь аль ч төрлийн байлдаанд үүрэг гүйцэтгэхэд хамгийн тэргүүн эгнээнд оролцдог онцлогтой ба дайн, байлдааны ажиллагаа дууссан ч тэдний хувьд энэ ажиллагаа дуусдаггүй үргэлжилдэг ганцхан төрөл мэргэжлийн цэрэг юм.
Энэ цаг үед үндэсний цэргийн түүхийн зарим үйл явдлыг, тодотгох шаардлагатай бөгөөд тухайлбал инженерийн цэргийн анхны салаа болох “Эвдэх ба сэлбэн засах сапёр” хэмээх салааны тухай энэхүү өгүүлэлд өгүүлэх болно.
